hey heard he's projected to grow to 6'6. might be a quarterback by senior year. if he goes both ways he could be clowney on defense and jamarcus on offense

If he was ever going to be a quarterback I imagine he would be like a bigger, better, stronger, more athletic Tebow

University has two kids (tailbacks) coming they are both in the 7th grade. One is a former AAU two time National Champion three time runner up in the 100meter Dash, 200meter Dash, 400 meter dash. The other probably will grow into a DE considering his brother and father are both 6-4 to 6-5 280+ and he is really close to 6'0 now in the 6th grade. But he plays tailback at the moment

They both will be sophomores during Dylan's senior year...Now that Ben Miles is at Catholic I can see coach Mahaffey letting Dylan get some touches at Qb if his skill set is is on point. (U-Cubs 8th grade coaches let him play QB a little last season. Especially against Parkview. They didn't let him throw the ball tho) So, we are taking proactive steps just in case that happens!

If all of my calculations are correct U-High's offense in 2017 will be nasty!

Yes, this is the major reason we decided to pull the trigger on the PMQC.

I followed Barry Sanders Jr throughout his HS career to college, and I'll be doing the same with your boy. I was really hoping that Sanders Jr would wear purple and gold but I knew it was very very slim. Hopefully everything works out and we'll see your son running out of the tunnel.

Is Dylan interested in QB long term or would he rather stay at RB/defense? Some of those big guys don't want to give up the opportunity to smash into someone best of luck to him wherever he settles in

If Dylan can get his passing game on point, it'll just be unfair

I think he will eventually play tight end/ defensive end in college.

More the offense we run and his projected position than a change of scenery.

Nope, we don't expect much fruit from this tree until his senior year. Like Jake says if he can get his pass game on point the read option ( dual threat QB) will have new meaning come 2017!

Cam Newton?

I think it's a good choice to atleast give it a try because that's where the league is headed IMO. Cam Newton, Kapernick, Russell Wilson, RGIII...Teddy Bridgewater. Athletic QBs are on the rise.

Well the passing academy isn't all about the Quarterback position. Its mainly focused on the offensive side of the ball, QB's but there are alot of skill position players there too. So Dylan will get instruction on breaking down and reading coverages which also helps the skill set players not just QBs. They always have a very impressive list of coaches/players to give instruction to the kids. Should be a good time for your boy and he will get to meet alot of big time stars in the game of football.
