Why the heck is rhymes swinging 2-0

The pitcher was rattled throwing balls. Rhymes is a double play master hitter. Why is maneri not having him make the pitcher throw a strike??????
Terrible defense and they give that team the game who did nothing offensively
Not mention we are swinging for the fences in a ball park that doesn't give up home runs

It was stupid. You either make the decision to play small ball or not. frick riding the fence.
We needed a good bunt laid down there in the heart of our lineup. Then a single base hit which we got from Moore who's Mr. Clutch.

Because 2-0 pitch will be the fattest pitch that a hitter will see most of the time. Why wouldn't you swing at a 2-0 fastball down the dick.
