Was my first time running dogs this morning, and it was awesome.

If I ever got in to this type of hunting I'd have to have a buddy with dogs, I just wouldn't be able to handle that sort of thing with a dog I claimed. I'd freak out and ruin any more hunting we planned on doing.

Kill all the Hawgs! Do any of your dogs wear those protective vests? That was a pretty good slice there.

Awesome. You didn't happen to be hunting with a green jeans did ya? Saw he caught some with some nice ivory this morning.

They had four diff types. That one was fine, and will just stay in a kennel for two weeks. Looked bad. We literally drowned the biggest one on the edge of a duck hole while we were above our waist in the water. The catch dogs wore protective vests, but the others didn't. They usually loose 2 or 3 dogs a year.

That was a close one. We had a plott hound get 42 staples one day. It lived but that hog basically unzipped him from his shoulder to his back leg. Luckily it was on his side to where his guts wouldn't fall out.

A family member ran some dogs on my place last week. They got 5. One boar had cutters that were about 5" long, but not nuts. Very easy 300lb+. Crazy sucker had that boar on the back of his 4wheeler still alive. I should of got some pictures, but didn't.

Be careful out there.
