Shawn Jordan 14-4 vs Pat Barry 8-5
Main card on PPV this Saturday Night.

UFC

It's a classic kickboxer vs wrestler fight and the first ever Tiger vs Tiger fight.

Pat Barry 5-5 UFC
He has insane kicks. Really hard kicks. Being a kickboxer his stand up is very good and his has quick combinations.

Shawn Jordan 2-1 UFC
He's a very solid wrestler. Freakish strength and athleticism. He's still polishing his stand up game but, he has very heavy hands and knees with a lot of knockout power.

It's obvious what both fighters want to do and it should be a very entertaining fight.
Here's an interesting article on the match.

VS

Pat isn't just a kick boxer....he has some of the most dangerous hands in heavy weight division, he is 8-5 and in three losses he rocked the opponents chin....

Poor finisher, poor wrestler, otherwise top heavyweight

No doubt. His hands and combos are really good.

Yeah. He's had some close fights that just didn't go his way.

I didn't realize I couldn't post about a Tiger.
I don't know how to move the damn thing.

That statement kind of contradicts itself, doesn't it? How can he be a top heavyweight while being poor at those two important aspects? He is sniffing the top 10 heavyweights on his very best day. He hasn't put together back to back wins since joining the UFC. His fights are normally interesting, but that is it. I have to say I'm pulling for Jordan in this. He has a great training home and coaches. He has some room to grow and I hope this is another stepping stone in his career.

Either way...

Why not chime into the Gausman thread or all the fricking TM threads?

Had Cro Cop beat until showing mercy, stopping to high-five him while asking for an childhood hero's autograph mid-fight.

More killer/less sweetheart..and that 5-5 mark could/would be very different.

Yeah, it wasn't the smartest move to let up on Cro Cop.
Pat's still a really good fighter though.

That being said, I'm still hoping Shawn gets the win. He's really talented and he's still learning.

No way he gets submitted. Maybe a head kick, but I don't see him getting knocked out.

It'll all come down to distance.
