Xbox One Achievements set to give you meaningful and usefull rewards

I wish they'd give MORE rewards to repeat players. For instance I LOVE that when I bought Forza 4 it detected my level in Forza 3 and gave me about 30 or so free cars in my garage.
Rewards should be actual rewards.

This is a great IDEA and I hope that it bleeds over to PS4 and they shamelessly copy it.
This would make me care a bit more about finishing games and finding the easter eggs or playing again for a second time to get everything.

Map packs would be a solid reward. Probably have to grind to get them but the overall concept is great. Makes sense for both parties.

maybe if you finish bf3 and get all achievements you get a percentage off a dice or ea game in the xbl store. things like that

Well his gamertag just went from worthless to worth something. Might not be much but it's no longer "a trivial number" as he said. There's at least some type of value attached to it. What exactly it is we don't know. But hey...if he can "sell his gamertag" for a few dollars rather than just let his memebership expire and sit there it's a win for him IMO

This may not happen. They do give away MS points which I didn't think they would do either.

The only potential drawback is those little fricks who use the Horizon program to hack their way into achievements and a better gamerscore.
But I'm sure MS has a plan for that.

The underlying reason for "alway online" or "checking in" is no doubt to prevent hacking as much as possible. I hope it works!
