Ok,
So another first timer here for the CWS...yes my bucket list as well.
The question I wanted to know was where to tailgate? Do they allow you to set-up pit's & music in the parking lot? Is there an area that LSU fans tend to tailgate???
Just trying to get an idea so we can plan some.

Thanks for any help!

From everything I've read & heard, there is not near as much tailgating going on at the new park. It's downtown & no real room for RV's and/or tents.

Yeah its just one big block of parking spots that surrounds the stadium on one side leading over to the convention center and Century Link arena. I don't remember seeing any trees, grass, etc that would make tailgating possible.

Tailgate at the box and drive up in time for first pitch.

Speaking as someone from Omaha, there isn't NEARLY as much tailgating as there was at Rosenblatt. There are a few isolated empty lots, not even sure how you go about reserving those. There are a few hardy people trying to do it in the parking lots, but you have to look hard to find a tree. With hotels across the street from the stadium, I think most just pick one of those and go to the bar. We've heard how disappointed the Old Market was because they expected CWS crowds after games, but the fans all just went back to their hotels. I heard there were people who found homes north of the stadium where they could park RV's and tailgate, but honestly, that's a kind of scary part of town, I personally wouldn't risk it.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm pulling my camper up there & have frinds that live south of town. Will be hanging with them just wish we could have an area to park the rig & tail gate...oh well still going to be fun!
