WTB 2 CWS Books

I don't even know if that's how it works, but I think I'm gonna drive up and I would love to have tickets before I go.

I would get them for you but unfortunately LSU is holding them at will call and they will not transfer the name of the tickets. The account holder has to pick them up according to their email. So good luck.

Are you looking for GA or reserved seats? GA books are $80 for ten tickets, and you can get them at any grocery store in Omaha now.

GA is to just find an open seat? Not liek standing room only? and is the 10 games all except the championship series?

Here are the rules for CWS GA tickets from the NCAA web site:

GA tickets are non-guaranteed seats in the outfield bleachers, located in Sections 125-136. The approximate capacity is 5,500 fans for these aluminum, bench-style seats with seat backs. ADA seating areas are available in the GA seating sections. Standing room also is available on a game-by-game basis.

GA tickets are not designated for a specific game or date and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. As long as the ticket holder arrives early enough to be seated, the tickets are good for all games, including finals games. If the GA seating sections are filled to capacity, the gates will close. Stadium staff will then implement a one-out, one-in policy.

On days with two games, the stadium will be cleared between games. Fans are required to leave the stadium after the first game if they plan to also attend the second game. In addition to using a new GA ticket, fans will need to stand in line again for re-entry into the second game. Please note that fans may need to leave the first game before its conclusion to be one of the first 5,500 people in line for the second game.

Best to arrive and get in line about two hours before the game you plan to attend. Never had issues getting a seat with GA tickets though.

That GA policy seems like a dumbass policy to me. Is it really that hard to just sell tickets where you actually know you have a seat?

I think it is because after the first game, you are not sure what game you will be playing in. This would make you have to keep purchasing the next game's ticket the day of or day before every game (for every team still in the tournament).

It's also very easy to find reserved seat tickets before games if you're willing to chance it. There are plenty of people who got full sets with reserved seats who sell for single games. Probably looking at around $30 per seat if you go that route.
