Any chance of Devery Henderson Coming back?

Do you guys believe the Saints will re-sign Devery before the start of the season? He's always been one of my favorite Saints, and we're also from the same town, so he's always been a guy that I've rooted for since he first started playing for the Saints. I know he is currently a free agent, but I'm hoping the Saints will bring him back.

Chad, I did read that depending on the status of Joe Morgan due to his DUI arrest, the Saints may bring back Devery, if Morgan is suspended for any games.

Nope, I dont see it happening. Listened to CSP on the radio last week and he talked a lot about Devery and what he brought to the table. However, he was talking in passed tense about him.

I doubt it. I think the Saints are liking what they are seeing from all of these young cats. Time to move on. We already have a lack of spots when you factor: Colston, Moore, Morgan, Toon, ROBY CUT?, Stills, And the rest of the bunch.

I understand where you're coming from, we do have a lot of guys that can be productive and have some exciting new talent that can make plays consistently. I know Devery was never really much of a stats machine, but he was one of the best deep threats in the NFL for awhile there. If Joe Morgan can stay out of trouble, I think he has shown he can step into that role.

Terrible Title.
I doubt Devery comes back unless we have a bunch of injuries. I think we go into the season with Colston, Moore, Morgan, Toon and Stills. Then we may bring in a guy like Tanner or Hakim from the practice squat if needed, then we call Henderson.

Nick Toon is your over the middle, post/in/seem route receiver (much like Colston). Kenny Stills is your deep threat that opens up the middle for your TE and big-bodied receivers. Big difference in the two as far as roles go.
