Our pitching was superb and our defense was excellent. Our hitting was timely. With our bats though, we struggled at length. I believe Oklahoma had a 3.5 ERA before we destroyed them in the top of the 9th last night. Granted, their first pitcher was a stud, but still, that's a lot of pressure to put on our pitching staff. I think we have all of the tools to win it all, but we could drop a game or two in route to a title though. I just hope our cannibalistic fan base doesn't try to devour our guys if we drop a game. Title #7, lets go get it. Bomb away rantards.

In this era of the "dead bats", great pitching and clutch hitting wins big. Dats us.

their studs had a combined ERA of under 2. Gray was a fricking stud and his slider was sick.

not saying we're going to come through and roll in Omaha, but the field has struggled and LSU just looks better than anyone right now.

We're peaking at the right time, IMO.

You are an idiot. Drop a game or two in Omaha? Do you realize it's double elim and if we drop 2 we are out? fricking idiot...

Did you realize the pitcher Oklahoma threw Saturday was drafted in the 2nd round? Yet we managed 11 runs on 16 hits.

Thanks for hopping on the bandwagon..

No he didn't. But hey, I basically disagree with his premise anyway. I think we're set to win it all

Wow! What a jerk you are! And then to be so colossally wrong while calling him out in such a Dickie fashion. Sucks to be you.

We are certain to see a few Bullnose pitchers -- our approach
With 2 strikes will tell the tale. We've got all the tools to
Win it all. Hitting for the team-- putting the ball in play--
not swinging for the fences or Glory.-- will "Get-er Done".
We will win it All. Keep up the awesome coaching PM.

To be honest both yaw sound retarded. First you can lose two in omaha and win it all .One in the bouble elimination and one in the championship second no need to be so mean he is just jacked over team.

Come out of the losers bracket and drop one in the championship series. That would be TWO losses in route to the title. Try not to be such an asshat, especially when you are wrong. I still think we will be the best team in Omaha because of the positives I listed. We just need to continue to support the tremendous pitching with our stellar defense. Our hitting is excellent at times. one or two guys getting hot at the plate is what could be the difference maker IMO.

It's just ignorant to try to criticize our hitting right now. We are probably gonna be the best hitting team in Omaha and we just put 11 runs up on a very good team, after beating the #3 drafted player the day before.
