Official LSU Colors

Below, according to the LSU official site, are LSU's "official" colors. Personally, I would like to see all of our sports teams begin using the official gold shade or tone shown here, and abandon the "canary yellow" which has so often been substituted for the official gold. Anyone agree?

I actually prefer our purple and gold to Washington's purple and gold. Granted their colors are Crayola perfect but ours are uniquely LSU.

I agree with the old gold and thought our battle helmets with that color were awesome. When in the hell did our royal purple turn blue? We need to fix that.
