WatchESPN App...

You must have a cable provider that is authorized for use with the app. (Almost all are, except for DirecTV).

According to this guy, in a thread I posted about the ESPN App yesterday, He was watching last night's game on the app. LINK

I had touble cause I had charter INTERNET and not TV. You have to have a valid cable provider with ESPN on your subscription in order for you to see the ESPN Feed through the WatchESPN App.

WatchESPN simulcasts ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU games to mobile devices.

ESPN3 is like another network, for online broadcasts only.

i'm sure answered above, but i've read these threads enough that i'll just give the correct answer.

blacked out on ESPN3. Available on ESPN via WatchESPN if you have ESPN at home via a supported provider (NOT just a cable internet provider that supports ESPN3).
