after seeing him in the bregman thread, it made me think of him.

After his freshman year i thought he could have been one of the all time greats. It's ashame he threw so much and ruined is arm.

What happened to him after LSU and the injuries?

He hurt his arm long before the dogpile and although he came back, he was never the same.

i was going to say it bc you can't talk bad about him on here, but skip did a number on him trying to salvage his last season at LSU

Lane would have pitched a few years in the Minors and quit anyway. He wasn't going too far in pro ball throwing 86 MPH. Did him a favor.

He left central high for central private his senior year of hs.. I thought to keep his pitch count down. But skip did throw the hell out of him. He's a good dude irl.
