I would love to tell you all about the future if I could, but I’m as curious as anyone to see what’s next. Pro Football Weekly’s NFL Preview 2013 magazine and the Fantasy Football Guide 2013 will be available at your local newsstands on June 11 and June 25, respectively. The rights to publish and distribute those magazines were sold to help raise money for the “assignment for the benefit of the creditors,” and most of the old PFW staff and I wrote and edited them, so I believe you will find them to be equal to the old PFW standards. Beyond that the trustee is now accepting bids on all of the Pro Football Weekly assets, and it is my greatest hope that someone with the necessary resources will come along and attempt to revive PFW. I will continue to do anything and everything I can to assist in making that happen, but I’m afraid it is largely out of my control.

so it looks like there will be one last season preview to read this year. I usually found their stuff to be a pretty good read... kind of sucks to see it come to an end.

Their draft previews were usually one of the most informative pieces out there. Nolan Nawrocki made a few popcorn head lines with his commentary on Cam Newton and Geno Smith while writing for PFW. I kind of thought those particular pieces were in poor taste myself but for years, I've enjoyed their work more than any other publication covering pro football.

That sucks. I always bought their Preview, Fantasy Guide and Draft Guide. Like you said, there stuff was always the most informative in terms of print magazines

seems like it is hard enough to make money printing magazines anyway...

but they had been doing it since 1967.

With the newspapers struggling like they have over the last few years, I'm surprised they kept it going as long as they did.

I mean most people use the internet now when they want to find out about things.

True, but nothing like brushing up on that fantasy football knowledge during the morning dump
