Technical Question: Delay in radio to TV or internet video....

While I understand the "five second delay" in programming for various reasons such as "wardrobe malfunctions" and "bad language issues" , why is there a five second delay between Geaux Zone audio (ahead) and ESPN 3 for these games. It is big difference, really annoying and I don't watch football this way for the same reasons. Other than "internet timing" etc., what is this about?? Graphics maybe ???? My emails show up in a nano second.

Radio to espn3 streaming online on an I pad is a whole pitch off. Finally had to turn off the radio.
