Has someone that has one for a while tell me what they are like. Are they cheaply made. Has anyone bought the one academy makes and sells.

i bought the one from amazon and absolutely love it. it doesn't have the seal that the $900 ceramics do but for $300 price tag it can still give you comparable komado style cooking. Ive yet to get it to 700 but have no problem getting it to 500+ as well as keeping it low and slow at 250ish
