Anybody have reports for larto lake ?

Myself and a buddy are headed to larto to try it in the morning . I've never seen it but heard it is a Great Lake . Any of the cenla obers got any reports to see if its worth making the trip ?

We are gonna try to find some fish friday . If we do well be back saturday for the tournament

Thats what I was gonna post, the largest tourny of the year will have some people prefishing Im sure. Tomorrow wont be near as bad as Sat. A lot of pleasure boats out this weekend too on Larto. Not so much on Saline side.

No idea how the bite is going but this time of year I try to find lots of shad. Good luck

We were gonna try to find some points and grass beds tomorrow in the creeks near shad lake . Maybe with a little luck we can find some fish

I'd check out the island. Its been awhile since I've been there, but its always good, and up Old Saline, which is a decent run from the Larto side, but lots of big cyprus trees...I used to fish out of Open Bayou, and Woodsen's a bit, and love to fish those big cyprus/lilly pad jungles with senkos/frog/jigs...
