Burris MTAC 1-4x24 with Fast Fire and QD. Anyone on the OB have a any experience with this setup? Any pros or cons? It's going on a deer and piggy AR 300BO. My typical shot is under a 100yds. Max distance on our land is less than 300yds. Thanks for any help.

Have only looked through them at the shop.
Looks to be a quality scope and has gotten great reviews.
Will definitely be my next purchase to go on my next 5.56 build.

what makes this one better than say a $150 Bushnell?
Does it being mounted on an AR have any relevance?

I added that so guys could get a idea of it's use. The same scope would work on an AR or a bolt gun. What really matters is what you intend to dpo with the gun.

You will love Burris optics if you become an owner. They get forgotten in the Leupold vs. nikon debates. My full field II 2-7x35 on top of my AR is awesome. At 2x I can shoot it both eyes open like a red dot, and at 7x mid to long range shots are still manageable.

Optics planet usually has good deals on Burris. That Nikon you mentioned is pretty slick too. Was going to get the M223 before a good friend turned me onto the Burris.
