In eight starts this season with Double-A Bowie, Gausman is 2-4 with a 3.11 ERA.

Is his team that bad? That ERA doesn't seem terrible, but only 2 wins?!!??!?

I hope Bautista doesn't hit one a mile and a half off of him!

He has been sitting people down on a consistent basis. I'm sure he hasn't been getting any run support in minor league starts. Orioles are good this year. What an incredible opportunity for KG... Dudes getting paid fosho!

Hope he does great! And if he does, maybe he will play when the O's come to Houston - gotta think that would be a reasonable chance for him to succeed for sure... I can see a purple and gold section chanting "L-S-U, L-S-U" at Minute Maid !

Edwin Jackson (Bluejays starting pitcher) is a bum so KG should have a decent chance to get first major league win. Not often do players get to bypass the minors like that. Quite the accomplishment...

Dude has a 9.52 K/9 and 0.97 BB/9. I don't think his W/L matters nearly as much as his peripherals.

Fastball

Slider (His question mark coming into this season)

49 strikeouts to 5 walks in 8 starts is probably why he got called up before bundy. That's an insane ratio
