I strongly, strongly urge you not to get Comcast in Shreveport. The fast Internet is not worth the trouble with TV and [especially] customer service. No business in my 25-year lifetime has provided worse customer service than Comcast during my two years there.

Anybody knows Justins new friend? His old friend I knew was Cajun but he recently moved out of town.

FIFY

I have Comcast in Houston, and my experience seems identical your description. It's just a terrible option for consumers all together.

I read where Comcast had the worst customer support than any other big company in the world.

Didn't see that, but very easy to believe. My apartment complex requires you pay for comcast, else I would definitely switch elsewhere. I just just don't understand how this company remains viable when it puts out such a terrible product (outages every month), and does absolutely nothing to make it better.

The contract with Comcast in Shreveport is actually up. The city is currently exploring other options and should be ready to take bids from other providers in the coming months.

Lucky y'all. If Shreveport has any amount of good sense, they will find a new provider. Comcast is deeply entrenched in Houston, so no change for us anytime soon

All of this. Their "techs" are terrible and their customer service is by fall the worse of any company I've encountered. Get satellite...if you don't now you will later anyway.

Saints always win over Cowboys when there is a vote. They win handily.

I want saints games on fox during nfl season but I thought I read where Shreveport gets Dallas games. Maybe I'm wrong? I hope I'm wrong!

majority of the time the saints win out but if all else fails you could get NFL sunday package for around $300 -$150-$199 for early bird pricing and then watch whatever game you want to.

Nearly ever LSU game comes on TV except for the crappy ones like furmon, uab, etc....but there are ways to stream them.

Unfortunately, it is the best option in Shreveport.

Dish- buy stuff, sign contracts, have to pay techs to fix your crap. Cut down branches everywhere.

Cable- rent box, no contract, come out to your house for free and fix the problems no matter what they are.

I've seen dish stuff that worked wonderfully and made me want to switch and I've also seen plenty that were always "searching". And the guides are slower.
