Those of you who have played with Ping clubs, which set would you chose, the i20 or G20? Also, what do y'all think of the Taylormade burner clubs?

i20 is more of a borderline game improvement/players iron.

If you need more forgiveness or help getting the ball in the air, go for g20 or g25.

i20s are great clubs tho - good for the mid to low handicapper. Very pure.

From what I researched, i'm leaning towards the G20. Also, I like what I read about the Taylormade burner clubs. Anybody have any experience with that set?

I had the burner 1.0 model

They are lofted stronger than most so you get lots of distance

Really easy to hit too

I'm still considered a beginner I guess. I play 9 holes at the local course and usually shoot around a 45-50. I have a cheap set i've been playing with and, I didn't noticed how crappy they were until I used my buddys Callaway Diablo's. So I'm looking to upgrade.

My daughter's finace just bought a set of the i20's and he loves them. He's a 2 handicap, though. I agree with the poster who said if you need more game improvement features, go with the G20's.

A friend consistently shot mid to high 90's with Cleveland irons before switching to the I20's and he's down in the low to mid 80's after a couple of weeks. They are super long.

Don't know much about ping but I play burner 2.0 irons and I love them. Very long game improvement irons. I routinely shoot in the low to mid 80's though so they are perfect for me. If you're a very low handicap then I doubt they are for you.
