My Shimano Curado E7 starting messing up on me again yesterday. I have two of the older curados; they are bulletproof. I've since added a curado e5, e7, and g5. Basically when I occassionaly try to cast really far and sling it pretty hard, the reel makes a slipping, grinding noise.

What older Curados do you have? My dad recently gave me a Curado Bantam on an old school AllStar 7'6" coastal.

I have about 6 older ones, from when they were nice and affordable. I've paid to have each of them re-worked in the past couple years. $30-40 I think is what I paid per reel, and it was worth it in my opinion.
