Great story about the pitching coach at Illinois State University. Lost his wife to cancer in March and the team rallied around him.
Since the time of the story the team has raised over $12k for kids cancer research, shaved their heads in support, and won the MVC regular season title.
Just a good story about the power of sports to help people in tough times.
