Anybody ever fish out of the blood river landing?

Headed down there next weekend to fish and could use some advice about what baits to bass fish with. I have never fished there before.

A few years ago, we launched there and fished towards the state park. Lots of small bass, so I wouldn't recommend large baits. If you go south, you'll be dealing with the party crowd in the cruiser boats.

I know the storm surge from Issac slaughter the fish along the Diversion, Blind River area...
