White House Spokesman: "The Law is Irrelevant"

This is from yesterday on 'This Week with George Stephanopolous'.

I wish George had been tougher on the followup.

Georgie admits to openly weeping with joy on the night obama won in 2008. I wouldn't expect a great deal of journalistic integrity from this little hobbit.

Here's more on the story from townhall.com.

quote:

The RNC notices that one of Pfeiffer's go-to maneuvers to avoid a question he didn't like was to dismiss it as "irrelevant." CBS News' Bob Schieffer asked Pfeiffer about the White House's pattern of deploying spokespeople who aren't equipped to discuss specifics on Benghazi. Amb. Susan Rice -- who knew next to nothing about the Benghazi attacks before she was sent out to publicly recite false talking points -- comes to mind, of course, but Schieffer also had someone else in mind. "Why didn't the White House Chief of Staff come out, and I mean this as no disrespect to you, why are you here today? Why isn't the White House Chief of Staff here to tell us what happened?” he asked. Ouch.

Denis McDonough has been one of the least visible WH chiefs of staff in quite a while. Perhaps he's just smarter than his predecessors or has a well honed survival instinct.

But anarchy is the lawless, scary society, right?

Of course the law is irrelevant. Most people have given the state their blessing to basically do whatever they want.

He actually went at Pfeiffer a bit but he was also apologetic for doing it.

Yet another misleading thread started by you. Really?

The man was saying whether the IRS activity was legal or illegal, it was "outrageous" and was stopped.

Why would George be tougher on the followup since anyone could understand what the man was saying... plus George had the advantage of listening to the man's response in its entirety instead of clipping him off at the end like this youtube video does so as to make a misleading statement of his intent, as you've done here.

Perhaps you should exercise your freedoms and watch elsewhere. But I wouldn't expect a great deal of journalistic integrity from Fox considering their head was a political consultant for three Republican presidents.

The poster again makes a good point. Only Foxnews is biased because of Roger Ailes but Georgiepoo's years in the Clinton WH only serve to give him proper perspective to practice his journalistic craft free from any personal biases

What's your point? To see how many false or misleading threads you can get away with? You've already been busted with your "Obama knew" bullcrap and now this?

You are shameless and indecent.

I thought you only did this if you were attacked first?

Do yourself a favor and buy this book. It may not be too late to learn how to REALLY influence people.

Hint: Read my sig to get a head start...

L.A. has unjustifiably attacked my character rather than my arguments on many occasions.

How many such admonitions/advices have you issued to the many people who constantly call me everything under the sun?

Read the book. Then you'll understand why this will NEVER help you.

I'm telling you man, the reason why no one takes you seriously (besides defending the Obama admin without fail even NOW) is that you resort to name calling. If you want people to take you more seriously, rise above the name calling and stick to the facts. Real facts.

Just trying to help you man.

I read that book 35 years ago. I'm not interested in being L.A.'s friend.

I'll add to this and say not just facts that slant things one way and one way only. Like the thread the other day about the tea party tax exemption. If you want to discuss how absurd exemptions are then discuss that...and THEN bring up examples. Flaming a certain group or POV won't get you anywhere.
