Took pitch off catchers mask to head. Had to be helped off field

Two foul balls taken on the front of his mask.

He got hit twice in the mask but hard. I wouldn't be surprised if he has concussion the way he was wobbling

Got hit in the head for the second time. Went down. They walked him off but he didn't know where he was

Took two foul tips off the mask in consecutive innings. After the second he was taken off the field. He was walking, but visibly shaken.

Two foul balls off the face. Almost went down on the first one, hit the ground on the second one. He is probably concussed, left the game.

why do these guys not wear a helmet like major league catchers do? Seems crazy to just have a cloth hat protecting your head
