I bought Dragon Age a few years ago on gamefly and redownloaded it last night. I used my key before starting the download and it was recognized, but after the download was finished, I was forced to sign on to my EA account before booting up the game. I couldn't remember if I had done this step previously and I assume I didn't because EA didnt recognize my email address. I signed up and entered my key, but got the message that my key wasn't associated with this account. I then tried a secondary email account that I was able to login to (I think for games I have downloaded on my phone), but I got the same message when trying the key with that account. Those are the only email addresses I use. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can play Dragon Age, without paying for it again?

I had the same problem except I had never played it before and bought it new off steam. Emailed them and got it ironed out.

Talked to gamefly who sent me to EA. EA told me my key was linked to someone else's account, believing it was either hacked or resold by gamefly. EA referred me back to gamefly bc he said they couldn't provide a new key since it was sold by a third party. The EA guy was cool and offered a plausible explanation of what might have happened. The gamefly guy sucked, wanted a transcript of the phone conversation I had with EA. he then said I had to take it up with EA so I'll call them Monday.

The beuracracy of shite like this is so ridiculous and hardly worth the time it's going to take me to iron out. I'm pissed at gamefly bc the guy at EA referred to reported issues and they were numerous and resolvable by GF according to him, but the GF CS guy was treating me like I was trying to pull a fast one on him.
