I got there late by saw passion pit, big gigantic and kings of Leon. Big Gigantic was really good for what it was, lot of energy and they did their thing. The other two I was underwhelmed but neither is really my kind of music. Infinitely more excited about today and tomorrow.

The weeks are playing at 12:30, I have heard good things but have never listened to a song. Anybody seen them before?

If yal wouldn't mind putting one or two of the better songs from each act I'd appreciate it. I'm always finding new artists from these kinds of things so it'd be nice to know which are their best songs to sample.

TIA!

I didn't pay attention yesterday, but am planning on taking it a little easier alcohol and such wise so I definitely will give an update today. I am hoping to get out there to see the werks at 12:30, and also looking forward to shovels and rope right after that.

Trey Anastasio Band was awesome yesterday. He has a girl in his band thy plays he trumped an he sang one of the best versions of Black dog I have ever heard. Stevie was great, galactic and moe both played really quality sets as well.

Cause he said a bunch of emotional stuff. Thanking the fans for giving him the opportunity to take care of his mother financially and live wealthy before she died. Then how his daughter is engaged.

On yea, the black crows. Good lord the black crows jammed.

i had a function in mandeville on saturday that I had to attend. I bought just single day passes for friday. I had a blast. I think this festival is one of my favorite festivals... I ended up missing all of the shins because we met this chicks who wanted to wait for KOL which was alright with me. I wish I could rewind the whole weekend

Also Stevie started crying on stage himself and during isn't she lovely and after the song started talking about hit mom and all that. Also talked about gun violence for a little bit, not in a political way more along the lines of we need to stop killing each other and come together. You know he is a UN ambassador peace.

I saw a video of a concert where he says he was blessed to be born blind because he doesn't have to see the color of anyone's skin. Amazing musician and an even better person who you cannot have anything but the utmost respect for.

I usually end up in that kind of situation and if I had left after TAB I probably would have done the same thing. But seein Stevie put me in a mood of pure content. Laying on the beach listening to him play. Don't get me wrong I was getting up and grooving during sit duke and the like but just laying there resting listening to those beautiful songs was the perfect way to end the fest IMO. Oh and btw how awesome was that fireworks show after he finished?
