I think they both do for sure unless Ibarra wants to leave for not much money.

He's not going to get a lot more next season either so why wouldn't he just leave now? No leverage next year and isn't like he's going to magically grow 3 inches.

I wouldn't imagine a team paying the big bucks for either of them at this point....so maybe they'd opt to come back.

Been around mcmullen a decent bit... didn't know he had what it takes to be a pro baseball player? Pretty short

Why leave when they will be better next year and lsu will have another great year! Have fun stay in school! Ask a bunch of players who left early

With all due respect to both of them, they are both good college players. I just don't see them burning up the pros. Stay in school get your degree then go give the minors a shot. You will always have your degree.

With new CBA seniors are really helped. Really depends on where he is drafted. A lot of folks thought Rhymes would be gone because he peaked last season (and he did), but he wasnt drafted high enough to really need to go.

For guys like Ibarra who have a very very very small shot of making MLB it's smarter to just go ahead and get your degree and probably get drafted around your same slot as you would be as a junior. I mean what's the huge difference if he's drafted 19th round one year and 22nd the next?

No legit reason for either to leave. At best get a small bonus < 50K and hit the minor league scum pit tour. Neither will ever sniff AA ball. Stay and play a kids game and get a degree ,no brainier. But others worse than them have fuked up and left.
