Seems like the last number of years the running game has been a strategy of using multiple backs spreading the carries with no one person getting what would be considered a heavy load. Who were the last backs to get 25 or 30 carries etc? Just curious.

Scott in 08 and Ridley in 2010 were the last two feature backs.

Short term memory can be a bitch.

Ridley was a beast. Around 20 carries a game. IMO that's just the right amount. Too many carries wears a RB down, especially after a few years. The vast majority of his carries were in his junior year. Good for more durability in the NFL

Scott averaged 17 carries per game in 08.
Ridley averaged 19 carries per game in 10.

After Hill became the starter last year he averaged 18 per game

People think Miles likes to go with rb by comittee, which is true, but few years spread around when depth wasnt as strong and we had a feature back.
