Can we agree Season 6 is on track to be the best MM season yet? How common is it for a show's best season to be near the end of its run?

I don't know that it'll be the best. Season 4 would be very hard to top IMO. But it's been very solid so far. And I like the potential with the merger.

Absolutely. Especially with her developing feelings for Ted and anything lingering for her from Don (I'm not speaking romantically, but they definitely have had a "connection" over time). Should be a good ol' fashioned, fun to watch clusterfrick.
