"Green Acres Is The Place To Be!"

Amazing Sitcom. Every Character left an indelible stamp. Absurdist Dialogue. Still fresh.

I wish they would release that last 3 seasons on DVD, so I can close out my collection.

Only 2 TV shows I collect DVD's for Green Acres and Breaking Bad. I had to screen capture the image off the DVD to get it.

The editing and timing was unbelievable.

And the gags that the whole town was in on except Oliver were hilarious.

Love his reactions 'Ohhhhh, for....the....luff ufff...'
"How can he ????...." "Miss...err...uh...bull"

My favorite was when Eleanor swallowed the radio and Eb was listening to a song contest....
And when Jacklyn and the Beanstalk....And when Haney rented out the farm as a motel....

lol

Don't forget Arnold getting drafted.

What happened in Scranton

Lawler the Installer and although we never saw him, Peter Greeter the Meter reader.

And Dee Dee's Dehydrated Mason-Dixon Chicken Dinner still leaves me rolling.

I watched a few episodes a few months ago and was amazed by how good it really was. Perfect casting, the writing was great, and it still holds very good water today.

"Although Oliver went to the Harvard School of Law, the people of Hooterville assumed that he went to either the Harvard School of Chiropody or the Harvard School of Hypnotism"

This episode has stuck with me for years.

Remember when Sam Drucker held a ceremony for his graduation from the correspondence college? He had tears in his eyes listening to that record

Prior to the bombing of Pearl Harbor and America's entry into the war, Albert was working in Mexico, playing the clown and doing a high wire act with the Escalante Brothers' Circus. While there, he photographed German U-boat activity as an "amateur spy" for US Army Intelligence.

He joined the US Navy in 1942, was commissioned, and in 1943 took part in the first wave of the assault on Tarawa Atoll by the US 2nd Marine Division. For his role in a series of rescue missions - 26 in all - during the fighting at Tarawa, Albert was awarded a Bronze Star.
