That show was entertaining as hell.
I had to listen to something on my way home from late nights studying at school.

Sorry for partying

I can remember waking up so early for hunting that the show was still on. First time I heard it, the guest was talking about chicken people. It was awesome.

"he said they were magnificent."

Was that how they looked or how they tasted?

A pair of fox, six times, walking at 5:15am in the Ascot Subdivision, which is off Coursey between Sherwood and Airline. At first thought it was big-arse cats, but the closer me & wife looked, it was foxes, which we saw again later.

I saw 2 animals this weekend hunting in San Saba that I have never seen in the wild.

A porcupine and a badger. Both were pretty cool.

I saw some foxes in Denali near Savage River. A fox and two kits. There was a couple of Japanese hikers around and you would have thought they just discovered Loch Ness. I felt sorry for the Fox after a while.

I guess it isn't strange, just random, but I saw a groundhog waddle out in front of me while turkey hunting in Missouri. About 5 miles from that spot I also had a bobcat mistake me for a turkey and it turned out to be scary for both of us.

That's an "Oh shite"-er situation.

I remembered another one just recently.

Saw a pair of Sugar Gliders in the woods north of Conroe at dusk. Followed it going from pine trunk to pine trunk. Strange silent little furry critter.
