He didnt say anything about groundbreaking but he was asking about it being the best Daft Punk song ever.
A few of us were simply commenting on the hype its getting and how overboard it is. The way some of you are talking about the song and all the hype around it, you would think the song was very innovative but its not.

I don't think it's innovative in any way. I think it's a fun song, I would dance to it, and I dig the throwback sound.

Its just the same 15 seconds of beat over and over with some terrible lyrics on it.
Most remixes of it are better.
Look up WPAHP remix that was released a month before the song came out. Much better because they do some cool stuff with the beat.

What is innovative about it is the way they made it. Check out the collaborators series on YouTube.
