Don't get me wrong, this show is easily one of my tops of all time. But during the rewatch of season 4 I can't understand the whole theory behind Gus not killing Jesse or Walt. If the big deal is him worrying about losing one or the other because of being able to "cook" the special recipe why doesn't Gus learn it himself. It seems walts argument everytime he's about to get killed is you can't kill me bc I know how to cook

I dont think Gus had time to be cooking and managing a massive drug enterprise while being a philanthropist and restaurant owner

Yeah I thought that too. But if it was such a big deal then why didn't he just train mike. I mean the random black dude and other guy he killed knew how to. Dunno

Guess he thought Walt's touch was the real deal.
My biggest question is why kill the guy most loyal to you to make a point? BS

They knew how to cook meth but it wasnt the product that Walt could do. Pinkman tried on his own and he couldnt do it. Hell, the other chemist was blowing a load over Walt's product saying that he couldnt match it.
this also. cooking the meth was time consuming

Ok cool. I just needed to get others opinions while rewatching. A little annoying how everytime something happens they fall back on the fact that only Walt knows how to cook. Still love the genuine love between Walt and Jesse. Just got to episode where Walt is laughing in the basement. So amazing

Yea the show is awesome. I just watched all 4 seasons and finished a few weeks ago. Had me glued to the story
Im just wondering where they take the show from where it left off

The way it ended blew my mind for the simple fact I have no idea how they can end it. Walts family dies? Jesse dies? Walt kills errone? I don't know!

Uh yes he did... You don't remember Walt admitting Jesse's was as good if not better than Walt's when he dumped gave that bag to Walt while he was sitting in that parking lot? I don't remember more details but it was during the time Walt and Jesse were going back and forth saying "You suck!" "No you suck!"

Well we know from the flash forward at the beginning of the season that Walt is gonna change his name and put an M60 in his trunk and then eat breakfast on his new identity's birthday at some point.

Well I think they definitely left it open. The old cartel guy died in the blast and I think Walt approached him with the bomb plan and no one besides them 2 and Pinkman knew of the plan. Mike would kill them if he knew but since he seems to be cool with Pinkman and knew Gus was also, he might actually help them or somehow bring them in.
I dont know how involved Mike was besides a right hand man that was primarily muscle.

Im talking about when Pinkman made a batch in front of the cartel. He only got to something like 96% and was pissed but the people watching thought it was awesome and Gus played it off like it was Walt's level of quality

I'm pretty sure before Gus killed Victor, Walt was watching him make the batch and was explaining that if things didn't work out perfectly that only someone with his knowledge could fix things.

Because Victor was seen by witnesses at the scene of Gale Beddecker's murder.
