When I was a kid, Mike Pappajohn (sp?) was at the plate when the McDonalds sign lit up behind the outfield fence.

Pappajohn crushed one over the sign, everyone was handed coupons for free Big Macs at the exits.

Glorious for a kid.

Too many to list but some things that I can always visualize.

TW homer to CF against South Alabama.

Jim Bowie hitting one over the lights in RF.

The looks of the Ole Miss pitchers watching joey belle hit BP.

Doubleheader against Miss St. when the crowd was so large they let fans sit behind the bull pens on the field.

I can tell you're not a young guy.

How bout sitting between the bushes behind the chainlink outfield fence and waving to Manny Mantrana, the LSU leftfielder on some of Skip's early teams.

First time I went to the new Box, saw LSU beat Florida in 09.
Dean and Lemahieu each went yard, and a distant relative of mine spent time on the mound.

Anytime I was able to attend a game with my father at the Old Box will always stick out to me.

2000 Super Regional against UCLA. The only time I was able to attend both games of Super Regional!

The Omaha-clinching win in the 2000 Super Regional in the Old Box. I was 9 years old at the time and I have never thought in my life that a baseball game crowd could've made that much noise.

LSU fans in left/center field were giving the Arizona State center fielder pure grief when someone started calling him cutie and asked the rhetorical question "Does anyone think he's a cutie?" A woman sitting with her husband raised her hand and said "I do". She identified herself as the center fielder's mother.
