I did a dealer locator for Elite Bows and this is the closest one. I'm not familiar with this store has the OB shopped there, are they stiil open, or is it a guy selling bows out of his garage?
ETA: Has anyone shot an Elite bow? Opinions compared to other quality bows.

I passed there a couple months ago (6-9 maybe) and he looked open. I bought some arrows from him a couple years ago. Price was about what you'd expect, and it was a couple weeks before October 1 so he was slightly backed up as would be expected. Pretty solid little place from what I recall. I don't remember much about him, but he's likely more helpful than anyone at Bass Pro or Cabelas archery section would be. I usually get pissed off and remember when someone is an absolute dumbass, so the fact I don't remember much about the guy tells me it was an OK experience.

The ole "If I don't remember him then he must be alright" philosophy.

It is just south of Sullivan Road on the east side Greenwell Springs. Pretty sure it is A-1 Archery. It is in a old white house looking building just south of a barber shop.

It's still open. Gene's family is now running it.

Mr. Gene passed away a couple of years ago. My understanding is one of his sons is running it now.

Yep. Shane is now running it.

who remembers the 3d range Shane and Mr. Gene used to run? The Pits! I spent many a Saturday morning flinging some arrows out there.

Geez that was years ago. Man that's what got me into archery.
