Don't we have a stadium? Why we keep scheduling games in other stadiums? Is something wrong with our stadium? frick these other stadiums! All they are doing is fricking us out of a game in Tiger Stadium! I like Tiger Stadium!

Neutral site games are a blast. Houston is perfect. It's a short drive, fun places to eat and drink, nice hotels. Great time to be had by all. Fun way to kick off the year.

And there goes another home game.
I know people like these, but you lose a game and ticket prices go up. Seems like this will be the only way to get a decent bcs program on our ooc schedule. I think it sucks, but i will be in dallas and prob houston because im a fan.

I'd rather play UW in Houston, than La Tech in Tiger Stadium.

well 1, we get more money for playing in the game. Then we get to play the game in front of texas recruits. Third, we don't have to give up a road game by doing a home and away.
I would rather play wisconsin in houston than townson at home

you mean to the detriment of the season ticket scalpers like yourself. Most season ticket holders love these games

Is the game a done deal yet at Reliant ?

Why do poor people always have to ruin the fun?

Houston is a much better venue for LSU than friggin Dallas. Tiger fans like to party ,Houston is perfect vs Baptist Central . Parking and tailgating huge upside vs Jerryworld.
Geaux Houston Reliant

Reliant will be rocking with Tiger fans. Most of this area has more Tiger gear than U T or ATM stuff. Reliant is a great place to tailgate. Plus, Les likes recruiting the I-10 area.
The LSU fans in the area are excited and can't wait!

Glad that you don't deny you're poor...lol
Have to sell a few tickets at a profit so I'm able to afford all the TAF,philantropic and academic funds I contribute to....how much do you contribute to LSU ????

There are thousands of LSU fans and season ticket holders that drive to BR from Houston for every home game. Including those "shitty OOC opponents".
We make that drive 6-8 times per year. And you're bithching about making it ONCE? To see a premier OOC matchup, in a recruiting hotbed, at an awesome stadium to watch games and tailgate?
No, your "crying" is not justified.
Odd. Last time I checked, the home stadium for the Louisiana State University Fighting Tigers was located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In fact, it has been here for quite a long time.
So, you see, if you wish to see that team play at home, in person, you are going to have to go to Baton Rouge and it has been that way for decades and decades.
Thus, it would seem that YOUR crying is not justified. Getting back to the actual point...
The VAST majority of LSU season ticket holders live in Louisiana, and relatively close to Baton Rouge. You know...those people that dutifully cough up their Tradition Fund "donation" and then pay regularly increasing ticket prices every year, yet which are served a steady diet of bullshite OOC games every year, while the lone quality OOC game is played elsewhere.
How does LSU forsaking a HOME game and playing Wisconsin (or any other major school) in Houston help the BR (or Louisiana) economy? Sure the Hell helps Houston's economy...but not seeing the local benefit.
As for the extra $$$$ LSU will get for playing in the game...Is LSU going to use that extra $$$ to drop the costs of season tickets for those fans that are getting fricked both out of a home game, and a quality opponent?
It is complete bullshite. Period.

Well then you aren't really contributing dick if you try to get money back from season ticket sales in order to offset the cost of the donation. Sounds like the people that buy your season tickets are paying your ticket fee, TAF fee and extra "philanthropic and academic funds" that you contribute to.

So what? Does that make you better than the out of state fans that contribute the exact same amount of money to increasing ticket prices that you do?
We seriously have such a pussy fanbase that cries and bitches about everything.
