I just got my beta invite and finished downloading. My first impression is it takes way to long to get started playing. They just need to do a quick cut scene and then get you into the game.

So I'm to the part where it's linking my PSN id with the SE id. Will I have a chance to change my avatar's name or will it make me run around with the PSN id over my head? Hopefully there's not a bunch of Xx_Stony_Blazer_69_xX's running around.

This Square Enix Account Management shite is a pain in the arse.
I have no idea what a Security Token is, nor do I want one, nor can I remove it because I have no idea what my removal password is. Don't even remember making an emergency removal password.
Can't download the client.

They aren't splitting it up so different platforms all go to the same servers are they? On XI I remember a mix of everybody on Sylph.

I'm going through the same situation. It picked up speed at one point then slowed back down.
