I think we have a real shot with both of these guys, especially Noil. Ellis is really going to help us out.

Ellis and his family should be locked up in a mental institution. I wouldn't take advice from them.

Just because you don't believe your statement was asinine doesn't mean it wasn't.

There is no way Mingo goes where he did without top notch coaching. Even with all the potential in the world.

I never argued that. All I did was highlight a ridiculous statement and ask him to clarify it

No I know you didn't, but someone else was basically saying that about GW and A&M.

Mingo could have gone where he went if he had gone to LSU, Bama, or Ole Miss.

If you dont realize this, I cant' help you, and that is why I said Willis shouldn't pick his school based on Mingo and Moore's draft slots.

Did I say he couldn't? I said he needed top notch coaching, LSU isn't the only school with good coaches. Though I question Chris Kiffin's coaching ability.

I don't need your help retard. You are the one that made the asinine statement. If you can't understand that, that's your fault.

Why do people think Ellis will help A&M but Donnie Alexander or Derek Edinburgh wouldn't help LSU?

Noel Ellis is a force powerful enough to overcome Alexander and Edinburgh, family ties, lifelong friendships, and geography.

The first pick in the draft was from Central Michigan. I would argue Mingo could have gone first round if he went to La Tech. Maybe not as high, but there is no way to tell.

The debate here is kind of a nature vs nurture one. I think that nature, natural athletic ability is the biggest factor in guys being drafted. Sure coaching matters but NFL coaches will coach guys up as well.

Bottom line is LSU's rep as a DLU and the coaching we offer is a major plus, but that does not mean a guy can't get good coaching somewhere else, including programs that aren't as good or teams not know for great defense. And the posters (not Project of course) that argue GW would be hurting himself by going to A&M need to keep that in mind when arguing Robinson should come to LSU.

FTR: I think Robinson has just as good a chance of being a first round pick if he comes to LSU as anywhere else that may have had more OLman drafted in the first round recently.
