You every run into him and you haven't saved in a while? fricking lesson learned right there. Or flirt with the Ruby Weapon by trying to buzz it just to actaully hit the fricker...goddamn my weekend is shot to shite now.

finally conquered sunken gelnika. got some badass weapons and Hades. those frickin enemies in there were bullshite. i had to keep hoping id get the one with poison fang since i was immune to it.

Here's a tip for when you get a bit stronger. IIRC, go back there, and each one of the enemies on the plane will give you a different type of status up potion when you morph it. They are tough, but it's a good way to boost your character's stats.

Nice. I'm sure a lot of people overlook that boss on their first play through. I think you are getting close to where you can get Vincent.

You can get vincent as soon as you open that chest, very early in the game. You can get Yuffie right after that first cave and Vincent as soon as you get to Niblheim. SO he is wayyyy past that.

Since we are talking about the hardest fights, I was always kind of bummed out that Penance was in every version of FF 10 except the US one. Hopefully they add him to the HD remmaster.
