I noticed on the Tiger Rant someone had started a list of the Top 5 Tigers of all time, so I thought I would do a Top 5 of the Saints as well. Leave your comments and thoughts :)

1. Drew Brees
2. Deuce McAllister
3. Archie Manning

Chad, how could you not have Deuce in the Top 5? Saints' all-time leading rusher and consistently made plays, one of the most beloved Saints of all time.

Rickey Jackson was great, yes, but I think an argument can be made for my guys to be in the top 5. And it's hard to separate one of the Dome Patrol from the rest. I think as a unit they were awesome, to me, it would be hard to say that Rickey Jackson stood out over Vaughan Johnson, Pat Swilling, and Sam Mills because they played so well as a unit, it's hard to pick one out of those four because they were all tremendous players for the Saints. So maybe I should have put Dome Patrol as one of my 5 then?

But you still didn't answer my question as to why you don't think Deuce is a Top 5 in your book?

dude barely has 6000 yards rushing over a 7 year career. Only had 2 years worth talking about. Only 2 probowls, less than any player I named. Zero all pro's. You have zero argument for deuce over any of my players.

The argument would be stupid though.

For everyone that is choosing Deuce over Jahri Evans, you need your head examined.

straight forward TOP ya gotta go 2 HOFers Jackson & Roaf. Brees is surefire HOF so him to. Room for two more...

I'll go Swilling and his 76.5 sacks in 7 years.

Final spot- Stan Brock, #12 overall pick, rock solid for 186 games

I can totally accept swapping deuce for Evans. That's legit.

I understand your point Chad, but you can't bash me for putting Deuce in the Top 5. I think a lot of people would agree Deuce merits a Top 5 spot based on what he accomplished with the Saints as well as in the community. And hey, Deuce played his entire career with the Saints, unlike Brees, Jackson, and Glover. So that counts as well.

I love Deuce, but he's an extremely overrated player. He was a very good RB, but not "elite".

Any list that doesn't have the only two Saints in the HOF is beyond stupid.

Drew
Rickey
Willie
Archie

Those guys are locks. The debate is over #5.

I'll go with Mortan Anderson as well.

not trying to overly dog deuce but he quite possibly is the most overrated saint ever.
