Is it just me or has he changed it? I think I remember him twirling the bat in the air last year while waiting on the delivery. But now he's just resting the bat on his right shoulder the same way Katz does with his approach. It looks like it's affecting his timing and causing him to be late at times. Anyone noticing this?

I remember the opposite and thinking his straight forward approach was key to his success. I haven't seen but a few games this year, but it seems to me he's taking pitches he hit last year.

If theres one thing we've learned on here, raph doesn't need to change shite mid season. Just let him flow

He used to strap his gloves twice and now only once. It is clearly affecting him. Maybe an extra nut tug is the cure?

I think the Rhymes we are seeing now is closer to the type of hitter he really is. He was on fire last year and it couldn't last forever.

I'm not exactly comparing the two, but Cal Ripken jr. used to change something about his stance every year.

He was kinda ok.

The rant could have made him better...probably would have benched him a few games
