Either works fine for me. We rarely see each other throughout the day but always meet up for bedtime.

What do you have to actually do to sponsor and how long is this going to be good for?

I just got off the phone with them. Apparently they had such a huge swell in Lifetime members signing up during that last round of Obama/Fienstien craziness, that they're keeping the $300 sign-up program going.

No need for a sponsor (for now), just go to the NRA directly.

Hints:

When signing up, you'll be asked what you like to do and what interests you. (e.g. collecting, hunting, legislative issues, etc.)

Say you're not interested in anything, that you just want a membership and that's all. Do this and you won't get deluged with mail solicitations.

Same for email. Tell them you don't have an email address.
