Played Grand Bear and Fallen Oak on Thu/Fri. Shot 71 and 73. Seriously considering a new putter since I made 5 birdies in two days while hitting about 28 of 36 greens. I know it's not the putter, but damn I'd rather blame the equipment.

I still swing a 8.5* Titleist 905. I've tried many drivers but keep going back to the 905. I so consistent with it. The drivers now are so dang big. I do have a Tour Edge Exotics XCG-6 on the way. I'll give that a try to see if it can kick the 905 out of my bag.
Placed first in a work tournament over the weekend but not sure if I will have time to make it to the course this week.

Playing @ Golfcrest Wednesday in a tournament and Gleannloch Pines Saturday in another tournament. Both are 4 man scrambles. I'll probably play Sunday too, just don't know where yet.
I've been wanting new irons and stuck on the Mizuno JPX 825 Pro's, want to get fitted for them though.

I don't mind blaming the equipment.
Last Thursday we played Crooked Hollow just outside of Shreveport. On the front nine all 7 of my drives went into the rough, lost 3 balls.
At the turn I told my partner "Hell, I'll just use my 3 wood off the tee." On the back nine all 7 of my tee shots hit dead center of the fairway.
Partner: "Well, Zach, does that mean you'll never use a driver again?"
Me: "Oh, I'll use it again. But I'm not gonna give that POS 7 chances before I switch clubs"

At the Zurich, we watched Jeff Overton try to drive #13 and hit it left of left, somewhere near 14 tee box, and was able to find his ball because of spectators/workers in the area. I would love to see what the pros would shoot if they didn't have spectators to help them out.

Oh yea, I made an Albatross this weekend at Black Bear. It was a gimmick hole in a 2-man scramble, but it was still an Albatross.
