Never been before and I've heard mixed reviews.

Not really my choice I'm just along for the ride.

What's good?

Good compared to what? Like Ruth's? Probably not, but I wouldn't go to a Mexican place for a steak...unless it's sliced thin for fajitas. I've only been to CB's three or four times, but each time, I had a good meal. Fajitas are great, margaritas are good.

Eta: my only complaint every time I go is how loud the place is.

Duck quesadillas

I got a top shelf marg there and it killed me. Couldn't even drink it. Lol. I don't drink liquor though so I'm a wuss.

They come with a raspberry chipotle sauce. It's incredible.

Get something that comes with skirt steak (i.e. beef fajitas). I've only eaten at the one in Laffy, and it's been a while, but they do as good a job with it as any restaurant I've been to, which includes La Boca and many top shelf Mexican places in Texas.

Duck quesadillas with the raspberry chipotle sauce as appetizer; steak chimichanga as main entree with the corn grits and southwestern mashed potatoes as your sides.

Thank me later!

Visited the Metairie location last week and I thought the place was horrible.

Well below quality and service as compared to the very average Supurior Grill/Velvet Cacus.

Nuevo crab enchiladas, anything duck, shrimp quesadillas, or the chicken beef and shrimp fajitas.
