Best Speech Ever Given In A Movie

One of the best to me has to be the groundkeeper's speech to Rudy in Rudy. Awesomeness right there.

quote:

"Good morning. Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world, and you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind, that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences any more. We will be united in our common interest. Perhaps it's fate that today is the 4th of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom. Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution, but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live, to exist and should we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice, 'We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on, we're going to survive.' Today we celebrate our independence day!"

We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks.
And the Film Actors Guild are pussies.
Kim Jong Il is an a-hole.

Pussies don't like dicks because pussies get fricked by dicks. But dicks also frick a-holes. a-holes that just want to shite on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with a-holes their way. But the only thing that can frick a a-hole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is they frick too much or frick when it isn't appropriate. And it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes pussies can be so full of shite that they become a-holes themselves. Because pussies are a inch and half away from a-holes. I don't know much about this crazy crazy world, but I do know this. If you don't let us frick this a-hole we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shite.

Don't know if a "speech" is the correct word but when I first saw "A Time to Kill," Matthew McConahey's (sp) closing argument was very moving.

I also like the one Pacino did in Any Given Sunday.

Gordon Gekko

Made all the better because it was all bull shite. He was worse than the board he was criticizing.

The Speech in the King's Speech

I think I just really liked this scene in the movie. The music they chose for the scene was perfect as well.
