What I don't understand is people keep saying well he had no help at Texas.. Their defense was awful.. But exactly what help is he going to have going up nfl competition with this defense and it's lack of help.. Hope the majority of us are wrong.

Wait and see...It is not a given that all of the players you wanted would be any good in the NFL..
Most people are acting like we passed on a proven all pro NFL player to pick a rookie.
We have picked Ellis (bust) Jenkins (last year was his only bad year) PRob (working his was to not a 1st round pick) Jordan (good last year and will continue to improve)
Go look at all of the 1st round picks on the past few years and see how all of them have done. It is a huge guessing game.
Saints picked who they thought is the best for the team. I love the Black and Gold, hope this kid is a beast. Just like any of our picks or FA pick ups.

Yeah but grabbing a Center that graded out by most scouts as a 3rd round guy in the 1st round is crazy. Especially with Watson, Warford, and Armstead all still on the board.
