He obviously left school too early from a development standpoint, but he looked like a promising prospect.

What do you think is the reason for his lack of NBA success?

ETA: watching the Nuggets game and he's getting a little PT

I was under the impression that he was injury-prone. didn't realize he played for the Nuggets.

he's just never really got the playing time.

his numbers per 36min are solid, which tells me he will eventually produce somewhat, when given a chance.

Me neither, just completed an and-1 as I type this. I know he's had a few injuries but I thought he'd at least be a solid rotation guy in the league. He was glued to the bench for the abomination that was the Timberwolves a few years back

He has really just started filling out his frame in the last year or two, which will probably help his game immensely. Never has been a great jump shooter, more of a slasher around the rim.
Dude was just so young when he left, he is only 23 years old.

yeah, this is def the biggest I've seen him. he might be opening some eyes around the league right now.

Bill Simmons will write an article about him in the next few days.

I remember more of Lamont Roland's LSU career than Anthony Randolph's. Did he really have any impact at all at LSU?

Wow, seems like he's been in the league 8-10 years. Being 23 he still has time to fulfill some of the potential to justify his draft

whenever he has played, he's done well

he's played 30+ minutes 20 times in his career. He's averaged 18 and 9 and 2 blocks per game.

No, one of the main reasons he came to LSU was that there was no competition for minutes.

Per his wiki
quote:

During his lone season at LSU, Randolph earned Honorable Mention All-SEC and First Team All-Freshman Team honors.[4]Randolph was the only LSU Tiger to start all thirty-one games in his freshman season, and averaged 15.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.13 steals, and 2.26 blocks per contest.[2][4]Although the team only ended the season with a 13-18 record, Randolph finished strong by averaging 20.1 points during the last nine games of the year.[2] Randolph also ranked third in theSoutheastern Conference in rebounding and blocked shots, twelfth in scoring, and posted ninedouble-doubles his freshman season.[4]
