Mac Miller Releases New Single off Upcoming Album

I like the way Mac is going. Although it seems this album may not be as popular as Blue Slide Park, I'm glad he has decided to actually become a rapper and not go the Wiz Khalifa route. He is no longer only rapping about getting high and being famous. The beat is kind of weird, but not awful. His voice still annoys me, but I'm trying to get over it. I'm looking forward to the album coming out.

I miss the Mac Miller that rapped about being a kid. Obviously, he's grown up a little bit so his rap material has changed with him. But his prime was like two years ago, IMO

Don't really like the beat. To much going on in it, makes it hard to listen to the lyrics

As a 19 year old, I could relate to what he was saying more.
As opposed to weed, now he just raps about "sippin lean". He's like a Paul Wall wannabe now, unfortunately.

I liked him more a couple years ago as well. His style fits the fun outgoing party songs he was making for a while. Doesn't sound right for him trying to be the normal "I'm a dawg sippin lean" rapper.

Mac Miller is awful.
That beat is different but hey at least he's not "on his Donald Trump shite" anymore. That is one of the worst rap songs I have heard in a while.

I'm in my student teaching I see kids listening to that shite all the time in credit recovery classes. I listened to it one day and I was like wtf is this? :csb:

i liked k.i.d.s. then the one after that he just started to sound like a lesser wiz khalifa (before wiz sold out) and got old. plus my 16 year old little sister and all her friends used to listen to him 24/7 so that kinda killed it for me also..
i did see him at hangout fest last year and he was pretty good. shite got real when he performed "loud"
