Of course next week they play LSU midweek.
What college baseball program utilizes bye weekends? outside of Rice and maybe Stanford.
I guess Tulane plans to throw their ace with LSU coming off SEC weekend.

Not likely if they have a conference foe to face a couple of days later.

Tulane normally doesnt utilize a bye week. The reason they didnt make the tourney last year was because they played some crappy team on their off week from conference. So this year they decided to just skip the week instead of playing another crappy team.

up next for them is RPI 221, record 13-22 Marshall, so they might just throw their ace at LSU

according to the schedule, UNO will have been off for 13 days when they play the Tigers May 14th...

The ACC works a bye week in for all of its teams to take a break from the murderer's row that is Duke, Wake Forest, BC, etc. It looks like everyone but UVA picked up an OOC series. UNC has 2 games vs James Madison.

I think Tulane is more concerned that they make their conference tourny than if they can beat LSU.

Tony Rizzotti, hes actually pretty good. Was highly thought of out of high school. Signed with TCU not sure if he transferred directly from TCU or went to JC before Tulane. I highly doubt Tulane starts him though, they will probably go with Randy LeBlanc. Big time prospect coming out of high school, but hasnt been the same since his arm injury. He has pitched decent the last few weeks. Not sure if he has his velocity back yet.
